Noise Measurements
Regarding the amendment of the Environmental Hazard Assessment and Management Regulation, which was published in the Official Gazette dated 27 April 2011 and numbered 27917, which is included in the Annex 1 and Annex 2 of the Environmental Permit and License Regulation, for the activities and facilities which are not covered by the exemption of Article 7 (ç) of the Regulation, it is necessary to make assessments related to noise within the scope of Environmental Permit or Environmental Permit and License.
Enterprises that are exempted from noise permits or who have received permission under noise conditions cannot make as much noise as they desire. No evaluation or permission is granted in respect of noise under the environmental permit and license does not mean that the activities and facilities are not allowed to work or make as much noise as they desire.
In order for entertainment venues with loud music to be able to broadcast music using an amplified audio source, it is necessary to obtain permission from the municipal authority or the provincial special administrative authority. The necessary reports on the noise issue are categorized as follows in the framework of the relevant regulations.
1. Documents required for facilities within the scope of Environmental Noise;- Acoustic Report for Operators Subject to Environmental Permit
-Environmental Noise Level Evaluation Report for Businesses Not Subject to Environmental Permit
-Environmental Noise Level Evaluation Report for Leisure Locations
-Environmental Noise Level Evaluation Report for Workplace, Workshop and Manufacturing
2. Reports required for Enterprise / Facilities evaluated in the scope of EIA;- Acoustic Report for the facility
- Acoustic Report for transportation
-Acoustic Report for Housing Projects
3. Noise maps;Noise reports and maps have to be made by authorized engineers who have graduated from the engineering, architecture and science faculties of the universities, specialized in B1 and A2 type noise training, working in authorized laboratories. Our laboratory has been educated and certificated experienced staff working on noise for many years and providing noise measurement services with leading devices. It uses the IMMI software program to create noise maps.
